	Memorable Memorial Day Hunt - Tejon - Part 1 by admin Category: Hunting Tejon Ranch does it again, and this time my brother, Scott, was able to fly in from North Carolina to join the fun. I've come to the conclusion that getting the shot on film is nearly a holy grail... at least on this kind of hunt. 	Tejon Hog - After the shot by admin Category: Hunting There was no way to record the shot, as it was all I could do to manage the rifle and rangefinder. The shot wasn't anything special... 108 yards, across canyon and slightly uphill. With the 30-06 and a tree for a rest, it was actually pretty easy. The hog went ass over tea kettle about 200' down the steep hillside, culminating with a fall over a 30' cliff and into the creek. No follow-up shot was required. Length: 00:57

The video isn't that great, since I don't have lights, but you should see the face on this old beast.
