Go Bar Fishing
Lyrics:
It was saturday night and I had nothing to do
I went to the bar, thought I'd get some brews
The crowd looked good, the tail looked great
I might get some action if I throw the right bait
One beer later, two three then four
I was getting nowhere so I drank some more
I was hammered, I was faced, and I couldn't see straight
I saw the clock ticking and it was getting late
It was almost two o'clock and the odds were thin
The salmon left, the trout and the trim
Then I saw a fish at the end of the bar
She looked pretty good she was kind of far
A frown on her face, in the corner of the room
I went up to her and said "they're closing soon"
If i was gettin lucky, now's my chance
We went to the back and we did the dance
The smell was dirty it was killing my buzz
It was a good idea at least I thought it was
My brain started working, My vision was cleared
It must have happened, her lipstick was smeared
My mind was sober and I saw her face
I made a mistake, I'm in the wrong place
I left her there, all alone in the dark
I was fishing for tuna, all i caught was some carp
