another question from me. When do the Bass return, or do they ever leave better said ?

one more thing, they don't leave. I fish for bass all the time through the ice (which I find is more effective)

I also agree with jfisher. I've been fishing for spawning perch and caught bass, so you can catch them when you least expect it. Like all fish though, they are drawn to cover, mainly big lilypads, weedbeds and dropoffs, and they will be wherever the food is.

I agree with jfisher. I believe that they are always around so I advise you to have patience when bass fishing, you might catch a few when you least expected.

I'd say that they are always around, but you have to know where to look for them.
