I heard that dogs can help you a lot when hunting ducks/geese. Is that so ? And if yes, what dogs do you recommend ?

of all the fowlers i shoot with (6) 3 of them have labs,although 1 of them has just got a english springer spaniel.(mainly for pigeons though)

i am the dog when we go i just slap on waders and jump in i have even done it in my skives haha so just whatever works and its alot of work to train a dog but if you have time i would recomend one cause it gets cold

well my neighbors have a lab and it is very good. you could also use some kind of retriver. hope this helps
