hey i went hunting with my dad this weekend and the coyotes are very vocal but the females are with pups and i had a young male sneeking around a hill and challenge barked and so i did back and scared it off is there any tactics you guys know that will focus the males so i dont shoot a female and leave the pups on their own so theirs some for next year

There is a solution to this issue but I don't know how useful it is. You should purchase male-oriented calls so that when you use them, only the male coyotes will respond ( at least theoretically ). Of course, in my opinion at least, there will be cases in which female coyotes will respond too. I haven't found any calls like this, only maybe the Predator Sniper - Coyote Howler 2-Pack. Give it a search on the Internet and see if you can find other similar products.

Hello mate. Nice hearing from you again. Drop me a msg when you have some time :). I have no idea about this, but I like your idea to let the females alone so that you have what to hunt the next year as well. This is how all should do.
