I am contacting you in regards for my dad. He said he saw an ad in a paper about free boar hunting due to over population. I can’t seem to find what he is talking about or what he saw any where so I thought maybe if I contact you you might know what he is talking about or what ad he might have seen.

Your father is half right: there is indeed a problem with boar overpopulation but I don’t think that you can hunt for free. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources recommends that all deer hunters should hunt some of the boars in order to reduce the growing population which has become a real problem. In order to hunt boars you will need a deer hunting license.
