Hi, I was just wondering why coyotes are hunted. I mean, people hunt bears because their meat and fur. Are coyotes eatable?

Below you will find some of the reasons why coyotes are hunting:

- Coyotes will attack a wide variety of livestock (sheep & fowl most likely)
- Coyotes will attack small pets (especially cats and small dogs)
- Coyotes can spread a lot of diseases : rabies, sarcoptic mange and others
- Coyotes are also hunted for their meat, many people enjoy eating coyote meat
